FACE MASKS

​I am currently making face masks to sell and donate. I have already donated some to people in the Hudson community and beyond who I know work in the healthcare system, are cashiers or postal workers.  I am also starting to make ones to spec for Akron Children's hospital and have pledged to make a batch for them during May/June 2020. 

The face masks I am selling are made with cotton or canvas fabric:

  • You can choose the outer fabric from my stock or give me your top 3 color/pattern choices.  Have a look at the pictures of face masks above for some inspiration and feel welcome to reach out and ask about availability or about available outer fabric choices.  Please be aware that my stock changes daily and some of my fabrics sadly run out, especially ones that I bring back from my travels to England. 
 
  • The face masks are pre-washed on a permanent setting set to hot prior to construction, so they are washable but best left to hang dry after some reshaping.  To keep your mask looking fresh for longer hand washing is best.
 
  • These masks are also okay with a hot iron.  Just use a cover like a T-towel to protect the fabric before you start, just be careful of the pipe cleaner if you forget to remove it. 
 
  • The straps are cut on the fabric bias to make them stretchy and help with neck, ear and head aches.  
   
  • The center seams of these face masks have been constructed with the tiniest of stitches and then seams have been nestled, meaning that each layer of fabric has been stacked in the opposite direction during construction.
 
  • They also have an inside pocket in the nose area with a pipe cleaner inserted across the nose bridge area that is removable for washing.  Each order comes with instructions on how to reinsert the pipe cleaner and a plastic needle to re thread it after washing.  If you need a replacement pipe cleaner just email me.   
 
  • ​Each mask comes with a plastic needle to re thread the pipe cleaner.  If you lose your needle or find it difficult a crochet needle will work too.
 
  • The face masks come in three different sizes: large, medium and small.
 
  • Face masks made with just cotton fabric cost $22.50 each + Tax ($24.02 in total).  Face masks made with cotton and canvas cost $26.00 + tax ($27.76) in total.  Post and packaging with tracking for one is $3.50.  For orders of  more than 5 please email me for post and packaging costs.  These prices reflect the premium materials I use and enables me to buy more fabric and thread and replace things like blunt blades and needles .... and continue sewing.
 
  • These face masks are made with premium fabrics (cotton or canvas).  The face masks are not medical grade and do not claim to protect from spreading any infectious diseases.  If you place an order you acknowledge that Luluké makes no warranties, either express or implied that these face masks prevent infectious diseases and they are not a substitute for medical grade masks.  

​​I am focused on quality and I take my time making these masks with the best materials I can find that do not contain any glue or elastic. I am selling some so that I can continue to make and donate because I have a feeling masks will be trending for a while.  See the waiting list below for up to date progress and waiting times.

Please note that these face masks are non returnable due to the nature of them.

Once I receive your color choices, sizes and payment I will add you to the list.  I accept payment via Paypal via [email protected], Venmo via @Lou-Khayat or can raise a square invoice for an extra charge.  If you need help with exact measurements feel free to email me.  When I start your order I reach out to you through email or text and I keep you updated until they are ready for you.

Unique Chic

The Unique Chic collection is a series of one off bags and purses that are made from remnants, repurposed, vintage materials and new fabrics.  Unless stated not for sale they will be available to purchase on October 20th, 2018, at Wildroots Flea Market in Hudson, Ohio.    Each one has its own story card that includes a name, confesses its past life, features and birthday.  Some pieces have been designed with frayed edges purposely.  This is to reflect that life is sweet but can feel a little rough around the edges from time to time - and that's okay, it's what you do about it that counts xoxo 

Pre order Limited edition

The Pre-Order Limited Editions are a selection of bags that are run in limited quantities, unlike the Unique Chic collection.   I have no control when a fabric design is discontinued so can continue to make these items to order for as long as the materials are available or when the final number produced has been reached. 

Custom branded designs

"Individual" made to order

The made to order collection are limited bags and purses where the materials are readily available, unlike the Unique Chic collection.   I can continue to make these items to order as long as the materials are available.
